The global network

earth-globePesticides don’t respect national borders. Tons of agricultural chemicals cross international boundaries every year, either through the international marketplace or carried by wind and water currents.

PAN International was founded as a global network in 1982 as a response to the fundamentally international nature of the pesticide problem. The network now links over 600 groups, institutions and individuals in more than 90 countries. We work through five independent, collaborating regional centers.
