PAN International Planning Council (IPC)

The role of the IPC is to advise, assess and evaluate the progress and relevance of the PAN international programs, to start a process for the integration of regional activities into joint global initiatives, to further develop a common action plan and to ensure follow up of decisions.

The IPC is composed of 20 members. It is represented by four participants nominated from each Regional Centre and from active groups in the region. As each PAN Regional Center is independent, the IPC is advisory rather than institutional. The IPC meets every two years to:

  1. To evaluate political processes and discussing strategies
  2. To further openness to new actions and prioritizing political areas of action
  3. To guide coordination of international activities
  4. To respond to national and local groups
  5. To evaluate activities
  6. To improve communication and collaboration between Regional Centers
  7. To widen the involvement of the regions in PAN Internationals key programs and actions
